Pristine Live! Top 10 Sales of The Week: September 28 - October 4

I’ve watched a lot of Thursday night streams at Pristine Auction, but our Live! Elite on October 1st was one of those nights where you could feel the room lean in a bit more. Six of this week’s top 10 sales crossed the block during that slate, and the energy carried all the way through the weekend. The headliner was a 1953 Topps Mickey Mantle PSA 6, and I will admit I had a feeling about this one from the moment it was put on the headliner list for the week.

There’s just something about a Mantle. It doesn’t matter how many you’ve seen, when one hits then screen the bidding changes character, and this one did exactly that. MJ was back in the mix wth a trio of rookies, including a 1985 Nike BCCG that drew nearly 70 bids. But the card I keep being drawn back to is the Lamine Yamal 2026 Prizm FIFA World Cup Manga that you will see on this list. A teenager who hasn’t hit his prime, in a set that just came out cracking a top 10 list alongside Mantle and Jordan? That’s not a fluke, that is a market telling you where it’s going. There’s plenty more below, from vintage to the newest of new so grab a coffee and check out this weeks Top 10 Sales from Pristine Live!

2. Air: Chapter One

1. The Mantle Masterpiece

What I love about a week like this is that it did'n’t belong to a specific person. Mantle took the top spot, Jordan held his ground, Kobe kept showing up, and a teenager from Barcelona reminded everyone that the hobby is always making room for what’s next. That kind of range doesn’t happen by accident. It happens because of the collectors who show up every night, stay through the weekend, and keep the community as deep as it is. So thank you, as always for being apart of it. If Live! Elite is any indication of what’s to come, you’re going to want a front-row seat, so be sure to check out Pristine Live! this week and see what comes up next.
